Our purpose is LOVE

It's really that simple...

Ever wondered the meaning of life? I have...

A couple years ago, I started Bumble Box with a mission to bring more happiness home to modern urban families. That's a pretty lofty mission, so I set out on a parallel mission: what is happiness and how can we get it?!

So, after reading far too many books on the theme (is that possible?), I've arrived at a plausible answer: LOVE. Trite, right? A bit too simple, maybe? Shouldn't we be out there making the world a better place and shouting from the rooftops about what's happening to the rainforests and elephants? Pushing for human rights?

In short, yes, of course. But we as people are much more successful in fighting for (rather than against) a cause. So, we should fight for love. (For the love of our fellow humans, love for our fellow mammals, love for the plants which produce the oxygen which fills our lungs, love for our oceans, love for our air, love--it's really that simple.)

Many experts say that the challenges we're facing in the West (and much of the world, generally), have come as a result of individuals seeking what's better for their own personal interests without taking into account the greater good. Taking a close look, it's easy to see that this is true.

Rather than looking out for ourselves and our clan only, we should let the actions we take improve the lives of those around us. We should use our time and talents for the greatest good of all. Let all our decisions be rooted in Love and our world will be a much kinder, gentler, healthier place for everyone who calls it home.

Bumble Box kits are designed to bring families together. We catch animals' footprints in the sand, give the trees a shake to see what's living in there, host a Family Olympics, plant a fairy garden, race homemade boats in the stream...you get the drift. Together, we'll make it through your family-time bucket list.
